Renosense Ltd · Company number 17205896 · 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA · hello@renosense.co
This statement applies to the Renosense website and app (including user accounts) operated by Renosense Ltd. Renosense is a renovation companion built around the Renologue™, a persistent home record that helps homeowners plan, track and manage every room, product and decision.
Renosense Ltd aims to make its digital services accessible to as many people as possible. This statement explains how accessible the service is, how to report problems, and how we are working to improve. It is provided voluntarily by a private company and does not claim compliance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
1. How accessible this service is
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standard.
- We do not claim that the Renosense website or app fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA at this time.
- Accessibility testing status: internal self-assessment carried out during private beta; no independent audit has taken place yet.
- Known issues at the date of this statement: some retailer-supplied product images arrive without usable descriptions; image-led features such as Renoviews have limited text equivalents; and some smaller controls have not yet been checked against minimum target-size guidance.
- Where testing identifies barriers, we will describe them honestly here and work to fix or mitigate them.
- Under the Equality Act 2010, service providers must not discriminate against disabled people and should make reasonable adjustments. This statement describes our approach; it is not legal advice.
2. Feedback and contact information
- If you find an accessibility problem, need information in a different format, or want to give feedback, contact us by email at hello@renosense.co or by post at Renosense Ltd, 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA.
- Please tell us the page, screen or feature involved and the problem you experienced (for example, difficulty with keyboard use, screen readers, contrast, or forms).
- We aim to respond within 5 working days.
- We consider requests for information in an accessible format and reasonable adjustments case by case.
3. Reporting problems and escalation
- Please contact us first using the details in section 2 so we can try to put things right.
- If you are concerned about disability discrimination in relation to our services, you may wish to contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which provides information and advice on discrimination and human rights issues.
- Mention of EASS is for general information only and is not legal advice.
4. Technical information and compatibility
- The Renosense website and app are designed to work with common modern browsers and widely used assistive technologies.
- Browsers tested: recent versions of Safari and Chrome on iOS and Android, and Chrome, Safari and Edge on desktop.
- Assistive technologies tested: VoiceOver on iOS and macOS, and browser text scaling. Wider screen-reader and voice-control testing is planned.
- Our target technical standard is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Meeting that target is an ongoing aim, not a claim of current full conformance.
- Accessibility can vary by device, browser version, operating system and assistive-technology settings. If something does not work for you, please tell us.
5. Assessment approach
- This service has been self-assessed by the Renosense team.
- No external auditor has been appointed and no audit results are published in this version. Those details will be added only when an assessment has taken place.
- We will update this statement when testing methods, scope or findings change materially.
6. Non-accessible content
- Content we know is not yet fully accessible: product images supplied by retailers may lack meaningful alternative text; visual room renders have no full text equivalent; and some third-party checkout and retailer pages we link to are outside our control.
- Content outside our reasonable control: retailer websites, affiliate networks and payment pages reached by following a link from Renosense. Their accessibility may differ from ours.
- Disproportionate burden: we do not currently claim that any fix is a disproportionate burden.
- As testing continues, we will list the issues found, the content affected, and what we are doing about them.
7. Preparation and review of this statement
- This statement was prepared on 3 September 2026.
- Next planned review: 3 September 2027.
- We review and update this statement at least annually, and sooner if we make significant changes, complete testing, or identify material accessibility issues.
- The live statement on our website should be treated as the current version.
